UFC anniversary video: 30 years that forever changed combat sports

MMA pioneer and UFC champion Ronda Rousey.

In 2023, UFC will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their very first event which took place November 12, 1993.

To highlight some of the biggest moments in the last 30 years, the promotion recently released a 30th anniversary video.

UFC Vegas 67: Imavov vs. Strickland – Full Fight Card

The first UFC event of 2023 will take place on Saturday at the Apex in Las Vegas.

In the light heavyweight main event top ranked middleweight fighters Nassourdine Imavov and Sean Strickland will clash in a five round fight.

Imavov was originally scheduled to clash with Kelvin Gastelum in a middleweight bout. However, when the latter was forced to pull out of the fight due to a mouth injury, Strickland jumped in as a replacement under the condition that the fight would bump up a weight class to light heavyweight.

• Light heavyweight bout: Nassourdine Imavov vs. Sean Strickland
• Featherweight bout: Dan Ige vs. Damon Jackson
• Middleweight bout: Punahele Soriano vs. Roman Kopylov
• Women’s bantamweight bout: Ketlen Vieira vs. Raquel Pennington
• Bantamweight bout: Umar Nurmagomedov vs. Raoni Barcelos
