Alexander Lööf stopped in pivotal Cage Warriors fight

We just saw Alexander Lööf (7-3) return to Cage Warriors for a fight against Weslley Maia (10-6). The bantamweight bout went down at Cage Warriors 180 in London.
Maia started the round with chopping leg kicks while the Swede threw hands. Knee defended the first takedown attempt with a good knee, but with the second attempt, the Brazilian took the fight to the ground.
Lööf defended the first rear-naked-choke attempt. However, the second rear-naked-choke was very tight and forced the Swede to tap with under a minute left of the first round.
Alexander Lööf made a big impression in Cage Warriors
Lööf has made a big impression in the promotion with his 2023 ‘Fight of the Year’ against Luke Riley and his performances in the PrizeFighter tournament.
