Zoran Milic has signed a four-fight contract with OKTAGON and is already set to kick off his campaign with a brutal performance in Stuttgart.

After several intense months of training across three countries, the Swedish flyweight says he is in the best form of his career.

Zoran Milic has sharpened his game in the US, Sweden, and Serbia ahead of his OKTAGON run.

The Swedish-Serbian talent tells Frontkick that he will face Mohammed Walid at OKTAGON 83 on January 31 in Stuttgart, Germany, a bout that marks another big step in Milic’s burgeoning career.

Walid is explosive, experienced, and will have the home crowd behind him in Stuttgart, but Zoran Milic welcomes the challenge with a big smile and open arms.

To prepare for his OKTAGON debut, he trains with world-class fighters, including his teammate Mark Vologdin, who recently secured a UFC contract after a legendary debut on Dana White’s Contender Series.

”I’m training a bit everywhere at the moment. Right now, I’m in the US with Mark. We used to live together while training at Allstars. We’re really good friends and the best sparring partners,” Zoran Milic tells Frontkick.

He is currently based in Las Vegas, where the competition is fierce.

At Syndicate MMA, they train daily with world stars such as UFC champion Merab Dvalishvili and spar with some of the world’s most prominent fighters.

”It’s a high-level, gym but we’re doing really well and beating most of them. It feels good. I can see what level I’m at right now.”

In his last bout, Milic fought for the MMA Galla belt but ran into problems at the weigh-in.

He missed weight for the first time in his nearly 40-fight career as both an A-class amateur and a pro. But despite weight issues, he won by a convincing decision.

He is now looking ahead to an active 2026, where he intends to establish himself as one of the best flyweights in Europe.

”When I’m healthy and my body feels good, I want to fight all the time. I want to be active and fight at least 4-5 times a year. That’s the minimum,” he says.

”I live for this. All I do is train!”

OKTAGON 83: Zoran Milic vs Mohammed Walid

Milic’s OKTAGON contract consists of four bouts, and the first one was supposed to take place on November 22.

When ”No Mercy” Walid withdrew, the debut was moved to January 31 in Stuttgart, a change Milic sees as something of an ideal scenario.

– My opponent chickened out and didn’t want to fight in November. Now we’re fighting in Stuttgart instead, and I’m going to knock him out in front of his home crowd.

Stepping onto Walid’s home turf doesn’t scare Zoran Milic; on the contrary, he says that he feeds on being the underdog.

– It’s great that I’m fighting him in Germany. I like it when people are against me so that I can silence everyone. I’m going to knock him out!

He is looking forward to putting on an aggressive performance that will immediately let the OKTAGON fans know that there’s a new contender on the rise.

– I’m going to go in aggressively in the first round and put on a show. Fast and smooth. I’m sharpening my hands so I can get a brutal finish.

Zoran Milic is currently at Syndicate MMA in Las Vegas with UFC fighter Mark Vologdin and wrestling star Giorgos Pilidis.

Ahead of his January debut, Milic describes his form as the best it has been in a long time, both mentally and physically.

– I have about 2.5 months left until the debut, and I feel really good. Explosive, fast, strong, completely wild!

– I’m really excited about this. It’s my chance to show what I’m capable of!

For Zoran Milic, 2026 is the year he plans to take his career to the next level, and his OKTAGON debut in Stuttgart will be the first step.
