CAGE MMA in Finland is the longest reigning and most established MMA promotion in Northern Europe and a featherweight firefight was just announced for the next event. Swedish-Nigerian Wasi ”The Nigerian Jaguar” Adesina (4-3) has now been booked to face Norwegian phenom Jon ”Wonderboy” Furuheim (3-0) at CAGE 59 in Helsinki, Finland, September second. The bout was made official via CAGE’s official website.
Adesina trains out of MACC in Stockholm and made his pro debut in August of 2020. Though he lost his two first fights things turned around in 2022. ”The Nigerian Jaguar” first defeated Eryk Walecki in a three round war and then continued lining up impressive victories and finishes, including a first round KO over veteran Robert Nyström.
