Swedish Amir Malekpour just clashed with Dylan Hazan in a flyweight bout at Cage Warriors 164.
The first round started at a high pace with good striking from both parts. Hazan went for a couple of takedowns but Malekpour defended well.
Malekpour put on a relentless pressure and when the fight took to the ground he was able to secure a tight guillotine choke that forced his opponent to tap, just minutes into the first round.
Amir Malekpour has pulled together a 6-2 record with the majority of his wins coming in local Swedish MMA promotion Fight Club Rush. In his last fight at Cage Warriors 158 in Rome he defeated Florian Doskja via a second-round TKO.
Hazan has a 9-2 record and comes from a loss against Caolan Loughran at Cage Warriors 154 in May.
