Former UFC fighter and MMA expert analyst Dan Hardy has joined Professional Fighters League as Head of Fighter Operations of PFL Europe.

In his new role, the Brit will play an important part in the wellbeing and development of the promotion’s fighters.

Hardy will also identify local talent across the continent, which quite possibly means we will see him visit Sweden’s MMA events, since the Swedish MMA scene flourishes with red-hot talents such as Samuel Bark, Josefine “Thunder” Knutsson, Bernardo Sopai and Jonny Touma.

“I’m excited to be taking on the role as Head of Fighter Operations for PFL Europe. This will allow me to bring together the best MMA prospects from around the region, and give each of them an opportunity to establish themselves as world class talent. PFL Europe will bring stability to the opportunities available to European MMA athletes, and I’m honoured to be able to play a role in that process” Hardy stated in a press release.

“Dan’s expertise gathered from his accomplished career and his eye for talent will be invaluable as we begin this exciting chapter in our company’s history,” PFL CEO Peter Murray said.

Swedish fighters make their PFL debuts in March

There are quite a few Swedish prospects competing in this year’s PFL events in Europe.

On March 25 in Newcastle, both Cornelia “Conny Future” Holm and Malin Hermansson will make their promotional debuts against tough competition.

We will also see undefeated bantamweight Ali Taleb fight in the PFL Europe tournament since he won his qualifier fight against Darius Mafi back in August 2022. However, when, where and against who, is not yet announced.
