Over the years German-Namibian lightweight Hafeni “The Namibian Nightmare” Nafuka has cut a swathe through the competition, positioning himself as one of the top prospects in Germany.

Next month Nafuka, with an 8-0 record, will take on Predrag Bogdanović at Oktagon 54 in a meeting between two top European fighters. While he styles himself as an all-round fighter capable of handling the fight wherever it goes, Nafuka doesn’t shy away from what that would eventually lead him to one of the biggest martial arts scenes.

“When I was 12 years old I went to Fight Fusion Academy in Regensburg, Germany and immediately fell in love with grappling,” Nafuka tells Frontkick.online.

Thus far Nafuka has lined up two straight wins in Oktagon, both by way of finish. Not letting fights go the distance is one of Nafukas specialties. So far “The Namibian Nightmare” has finished all but one of his pro fights and half of his fights have ended in the very first round.

“We don’t get paid by the hour…”

With an impressive 8-0 record Nafuka plans on keeping this current trend going.

“We don’t get paid by the hour, that’s why I always want to finish my opponent.”

Bogdanović is a solid opponent and one of the most experienced fighters Nafuka has faced. So far Bogdanovićs only loss has come to former Bellator and UFC standout Will Brooks, something that could potentially put “The Namibian Nightmare” in great company.

The finishing capability Nafuka possesses is something that isn’t necessarily shared by Bogdanović. In fact, Nafuka doesn’t see anything special that his opponent could throw his way.

“I see nothing special, his style is similar to mine, I don’t see any serious threats. My mentality, my technique and my strength will be my biggest advantage.”

Nafuka knows what brought him to the spotlight, what has turned him into a hot prospect and what the fans enjoy.

That’s exactly why he plans on making sure that his opponent wont get any sweet dreams any time soon.

“As always I’m gonna be nightmare for my opponent and bring a finish.”
