Rising European MMA promotion OKTAGON put on a massive stadium show on Saturday, drawing a crowd over over 28 000 fans to OKTAGON 58 in Prague to watch a stacked card headlined by a championship rematch between Karlos Vemola and Attila Vegh.

Vemola, a UFC veteran and Czech MMA legend, submitted his Slovakian rival by way of second-round arm triangle choke in what was billed as the “rematch of the century”.

Vegh, a former Bellator champion, knocked Vemola out back in 2019. However this time, it was Vemola who came out on top in what was most likely his last fight.

Further down on the card, we also saw Finish UFC vet Makwan Amirkhani back in the cage despite announcing his retirement following his last loss. Unfortunately for Amirkhani, he ended up losing again as Attila Korkmaz submitted him with a rear-naked choke in the third round of their Tipsport Gamechanger alternate bout.
