Cage Warriors featherweight champion Paul Hughes had quite a bit of bad luck lately.

Scheduled to fight at Cage Warriors 170 on April 6, the fan favorite had no less than three opponents pulling out in just one week. Now he will finally face Brazil’s Fabiano Silva in a catchweight bout in the co-main event in Dublin.

“Fourth opponent in four weeks,” Hughes recently told Cage Warriors. “There is no way he has experienced that atmosphere that I bring. When he walks out before me on fight night he is going to be like ‘Oh what the fuck have I got myself into’.”

“Trust me I’m coming for the finish. I’ve got to do something nice this Saturday, you know?”
