The PFL Europe finals just took place in Dublin, Ireland, with a bunch of interesting fights on the card.
The event hosted to four championship fights in lightweight, bantamweight, and light heavyweight for men, and a flyweight for women.
The main event, however, would feature a bout between hometown hero Nathan Kelly and French prospect Dimitry Solimeis. After scoring an early takedown Kelly methodically worked to get a top position, transitioning to a rear naked choke and getting the tap – much to ecstasy of the Irish crowd.
Khurshed Kakhorov would brave a contentious against Frans Mlambos in the bantamweight finals. However in the second round Kakhorov found his opponents chin with a sharp left hook, sealing the end to the fight and bantamweight gold.
British phenom Datota Ditcheva stayed perfect in her flyweight final against Italy’s Valentina Scatizzi, winning via TKO between the first and second round due to a doctor stoppage. It was a thoroughly dominant performance from Ditcheva, who perhaps had her least competitive fight throughout the entire tournament.
