Swedish UFC breakout star Khamzat Chimaev has just entered a global partnership with RDX Sports, one of the world’s fastest-growing combat sports and fitness brands.

“Borz” has signed a one-year contract and joins fellow UFC stars such as Tony Ferguson, Michael Chandler and Michael Bisping as a brand ambassador.

“Let’s smash everyone together,” Chimaev wrote in a post on Instagram while revealing the new partnership to his 3 million+ followers.

“We’ve been working on this international partnership with RDX Sports for a while now and it feels amazing to finally get the deal done. We are very proud to be a part of Khamzat Chimaev’s journey and we’re extremely happy to be working with RDX Sports,” says Rebecca Aronsson, one of Chimaev’s agents over at Bulldog Sports Agency.

Chimaev roared onto the UFC scene when he defeated Rhys McKee and John Phillips within a span of just ten days, setting a new UFC record. Two months later, he secured his third octagon win by knocking out Gerald Meerschaert in just 17 seconds.

This past fall, Chimaev cemented his place as a top contender in the welterweight division as he steamrolled Li Jingliang who was ranked at No. 11 at the time.

The Chechnya-born swede has quickly become one of the biggest stars in MMA and the most feared name in the stacked UFC welterweight division. The new partnership with RDX Sports serves to cement the 28-year-old’s status as one of the worlds biggest prospects in any sport, let alone MMA.

“We’re proud to be associated with a living legend and the future of the sport in Khamzat Chimaev. Also, big shout out to Bulldog Sports Agency and Allstars Training Center Sweden,” says Dawood Mahmood, head of brand sponsorships and partnerships at RDX Sports.
