FCR 11 prelim results: Reality TV star and Allstars prospect Liam Pitts wins in MMA debut

Fight Club Rush 11 is underway in Västerås, Sweden. The prelims just wrapped up on Aftonbladet Plus, where Swedish reality TV celebrity and highly-touted MMA prospect Liam Pitts made his amateur debut.

Pitts, who trains at Allstars Traning Center alongside Khamzat Chimaev and The Wolf Pack, faced off against Noah Hedenberg in a bantamweight clash between two 18 year olds.

After three strong rounds where Pitts mostly showcased his boxing, the Allstars fighter secured the win by unanimous decision earning 30-27 scores on the judges scorecards.

“Where’s all the doubters now!?” Liam Pitts screamed afterwards during his post-fight interview with FCR commentator Sebastian Vendel-Martinez.

FCR 11: Official prelim results

The FCR 11 undercard also featured four other fights, two professional bouts and two amateur contests. Two two biggest standouts were welterweight prospect Theodor Berggren, who submitted Ebrima Faal with a rear-naked choke, and Safi Hussain who scored a one-punch knock out against Jakob Valegren after just 11 seconds.

Here’s the official results from the prelims:

  • Bantamweight (amateur fight): Liam Pitts def. Noah Hedenberg via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
  • Welterweight: Theodor Berggren def. Ebrima Faal via submission (rear-naked-choke), round 1
  • Catchweight: Safi Husseini def. Jakob Valegren via KO (Punches), round 1
  • Lightweight (amateur fight): Djaba Murtazaliev def. Oskar Lang via submission (Anaconda choke), round 2
  • Featherweight (amateur fight): Abdulaziz Hussein def. Ali Al-Jasim via TKO (punches), round 1
