Yesterday, MMA prospect Aitana Alvarez took on Amena Hadaya in a main card flyweight bout at UAE Warriors 53. The fight took mostly part standing, with Alvarez being the aggressor and Hadaya using her footwork to find counters.
After three rounds, Hadaya eventually stood as the winner via split decision. That decision is something that Alvarez is really unhappy about.
“Don’t leave it to the judges, they said, and they were really right! It’s just unbelievable how some score fights, just a completely nonsense that has nothing more to do than something with external interests from the main thing that it’s to judge and score a three rounds bout. I came to fight, not to run all over three rounds, and get scoring from the air; but no worries, the history doesn’t end here,” Alvarez wrote on social media after the fight.
