Fight Club Rush 20 is slated to go down at ABB Arena in Västerås on June first and a massive middleweight fight was just added to the card! Swedish brute and fan favourite Andreas “Bane” Gustafsson will welcome Jakyp Tuganbaev all the way from Kyrgyzstan.
Since his pro debut in January of 2019 Gustafsson has proven himself to be an exciting fighter worth watching with an impressive 90% finishing rate. He is currently undefeated in FCR with five victories and his only losses as a pro have been against top competition like Joilton Lutterbach.
Since his return to MMA in 2022 “Bane” has won four out of his five last fights with all wins coming by way of T/KO, most recently emphatic wins over Toni Lampinen and Dominic Schober and holds a 10-2 record.
Much like his current opponent, Tuganbaev does his talking inside the cage and holds a 10-3 pro record who won the Kyrgyz National MMA championships before making the move to pro. He has currently finished half of his wins via TKO and has faced stiff competition on the Russian MMA Scene.
Heading into FCR 20 Tuganbaev has won four out of his five latest fights, coming off of a decision loss to top prospect Yakub Sulimanov in ACA.
