Bernardo Sopai booked for UFC return against TUF-winner!

A bantamweight bout between Swedish-Albanian Bernardo Sopai and Ricky Turcios is set for the UFC’s Fight Night event on Nov. 9 at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.
That’s according to a report from MMA Fighting.
Sopai made his short-notice debut at UFC Vegas 87 in March. After a very strong start he eventually lost via KO to Vinicius Oliveira in the third round. Now, he will look for his first win inside the octagon. The 23-year-old Allstar Training Center’s fighter has made a name for himself as a fierce finisher. Back in Sweden, he won the bantamweight titles in regional promotions AFN and FCR.
The fight will mark the fifth UFC outing for Turcios. In his most recent fight, he was submitted by Raul Rosas Jr. in the second round at June’s UFC Louisville event. Turcios was the bantamweight winner of TUF 29 in 2021.
UFC Fight Night with Bernardo Sopai
UFC Fight Night 247 will go down on November 9 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. At the moment there’s no headliner announced for the card, however the card features fighters like former bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt and strawweight submission specialist Gillian Robertson.
