Eddie Hall to face Mariusz Pudzianowski: ”Fully prepared for a bloodbath”

Eddie Hall vs Mariusz Pudzianowski

Former World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall is on a roll, but he might be biting off more than he can chew.

“The Beast” recently announced that he will soon begin preparations for his next big bout, as he is set to take on Polish powerhouse Mariusz “Pudzian” Pudzianowski. Hall was recently in the cage for a 2-vs-1 matchup against The Neffati Brothers in Blackburn, England.

The absurd matchup proved to be a bad idea for the brothers. Hall picked up one of the brothers as he attempted a takedown and slammed him onto the mat. When he got up, he immediately rushed Hall but was caught with a picture-perfect hook that knocked him out cold. Check out the highlights here:

Eddie “The Beast” Hall announced that he will take on a much more dangerous opponent: MMA veteran Mariusz Pudzianowski. “Pudzi” is widely regarded as one of the greatest strength athletes of all time, having won the World’s Strongest Man competition five times, more than anyone in history.

The 47-year-old “Pudzi” has also competed in 27 MMA bouts, holding a professional record of 17-9-1 NC. Hall announced that talks have already taken place and he will start his preparations next week.

“WHO’S READY FOR THIS?  Talks are in motion and tbh I’m bricking it. Which is totally fine, Marius is strong and also has 15+ years experience in the MMA game. But I’m game,” Eddie Hall wrote. “One things for sure, I’ll come in with two biceps and fully prepared for a bloodbath. Training starts next week!!! May the highest bidder please step forward.

Besides the 2-vs-1 MMA bout, Hall has also competed in a professional boxing bout against his rival Hafthor “Thor” Júlíus Björnsson in 2020. Hall lost the bout via unanimous decision. Let’s see if he can do better against the Polish veteran Pudzianowski.
