Swedish striking specialist Freddy Castro is set for an exciting new chapter of his career.
After making his MMA debut at Superior Academy in September, the Muay Thai kickboxer now signs with striking promotion Karate Combat. He will make his debut on November 15.
Castro came to sign with the promotion with the help of Viracci Sports Management, who reveal that the Swede will have the opportunity to sign a multi-match contract if he wins the debut.
Freddy Castro will take on tough UFC veteran
The Swede will face seasoned UFC veteran Batgerel Danaa who has three first-round KO’s in the UFC.
After losing his last UFC outing in April 2023, Danaa signed with Karate Combat and made quite a statement in his debut as he viciously stopped Freddy Masabo with a flying knee.
