Mark Vologdin is a young and promising prospect on the European MMA scene.

With five straight wins, three by stoppage, the 24-year-old AFN bantamweight champion is making a name for himself as one of Northern Europe’s most dangerous fighters.

“I’m always looking for the finish,” Vologdin tells Frontkick in an exclusive interview. “I’m trying to find the weak sides of my opponents and use them. And I have striking finishes and submissions, I’m an MMA fighter, that’s why I can finish the fight in all situations.”

What did the move to Allstars mean for your career?

“It means that I’m on the right path. Allstars, it’s my home now and I’m so happy to be part of this big family. I’m training with the best and I’m getting better and better every day.”

Mark Vologdin: “I want to show the world my technique and my heart”

In a recent interview with Frontkick, undefeated Swedish UFC fighter Josefine Knutsson praised Vologdin, claiming that he might very well be the next fighter from Allstars Training Center to sign with the biggest MMA promotion in the world.

“Josefine talked about me in an interview and I’m very glad to read about it. Thanks to her. She is a very good person and she will soon be the UFC champion,” Vologdin says. “I think that I’m ready for this, I have everything to compete in UFC. I’m feeling that soon it will happen, because I trained hard and I deserved it. I want to show the world my technique and my heart. I’m ready and waiting for a call from them.”

When will we see you in action again?

“My next fight will be on October 19. I will defend my belt and do one more good highlight for the people and after that I hope I will be in one step of UFC.”
