Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping stuck around in Paris for some well-deserved vacation after calling the action of this past Saturday’s UFC card.
In a video posted on social media, Bisping said that a thief tried to steal his wife’s purse while walking around in the French capital.
The former UFC champ had none of that whatsoever.
“I chase after him, get a hold of him, he had the bag already hidden like a towel,” Bisping said. “Got the bag off him. He didn’t speak a word of English, obviously. Didn’t do anything to him, got the bag back. He was shitting his pants, poor guy. … Anyway, I let him go, turned around, boom, just gave him a nice kick up the ass.”
Michael Bisping won the UFC middleweight title by knocking out Luke Rockhold in the first round. It was regarded as one of the biggest upsets in company history. Bisping had taken the fight on short notice, but was able to stop the champ in the first round.
He eventually lost the title to Georges St-Pierre at UFC 217 in November 2017.
Bisping made his UFC colour commentary debut on 2 February 2019.
