It looks like former UFC welterweight title challenger Nick Diaz will likely make his next UFC appearance before the end of the year.
According to MMA Mania’s Alex Behunin, Diaz will return for UFC 310, on December 7, to take on Vicente Luque. The pairing was scheduled to clash on August 3, at UFC on ABC 7, however, due to travel issues, the fight was postponed.
Nick Diaz has not won since 2011
Diaz hasn’t competed since September of 2021, where he was stopped by Robbie Lawler at UFC 266. The 41-year-old has not won a fight since UFC 137 in 2011, where he defeated fellow legendary MMA fighter B.J. Penn.
Luque has lost three of his last five fights and comes from a tough second-round TKO loss against Joaquin Buckley.
