Top-tier Nordic prospects Herolind Xhafolli and Torpal Merjoev slated for must-see fight!



,Two of the most promising young talents in Scandinavia are scheduled for a lightweight collision at Fight Club Rush 16 as Herolind Xhafolli (1-0) from Redline Training Center in Malmö, Sweden will face Torpal Merjoev (1-0) of Norway’s Spartacus MMA.

Xhafolli went undefeated as an amateur, winning the 2022 national championships at middleweight. He holds a notable win over the rising talent Enes Kollari among many others. Xhafolli made his pro debut late last year, defeating Mattias Henriksson via second rond TKO.

The Norwegian Merjoev has a solid martial arts background with fine achievements in wrestling. After several impressive wins at amateur he made his pro debut in February this year, defeating Oskar Lang via unanimous decisson.

Current fight card for FCR 16

The promotion has previously announced a high-stakes Nordic derby between Sweden’s Andreas Gustafsson and Finn Toni Lampinen. Between both fighters’ 16 wins only two have been secured by decision.

FCR 16 also features Stockholm star Nabbe Malki who will take on the dangerous striker Ebrima Faal.

TV star and MMA fighter Liam Pitts will be back in the cage to test himself against Gothenburg’s Enes Ahmemulic. Pitts made his MMA debut at Fight Club Rush 11 in May last year.

  • Lightweight bout (amateur): Jaafer Mohammed vs Anton Hellström
  • Lightweight bout: Herolind Xhafolli vs Torpal Merjoev
