Zone 6 results: Hometown hero KO’d in main event

Zone Pro League 6 just took place in Gothenburg and featured a stacked card with both MMA and Muay Thai fights in a cage.

In the middleweight MMA main event hometown hero Robin Enontekiö got off to a great start, piecing up his French opponent Louis Laurent. Towards the end of the first round ENontekiö was caught with a haymaker of a right hand as he rushed in, getting cleanly finished.

The co-main event saw Najib Ghaderi face Portugese champ Brunos Santos. It was a clsoely contested bout, though Santos landed several effective high kicks and sweep, winning a close split decision after three rounds.

High profile Muay Thai fight

In the high profile Muay Thai bout between decorated Ewin Ates and Swedish National Kickboxing Team member Alexandra Andersröd. The fight started off quite even but Ates found the target with her punches and combinations. Andersröd was game, though, constantly firing back and never backing down. After three full rounds Ates emerged victorious via decison.

  • -60 kg Muay Thai A-class: Ewin Ates def. Alexandra Andersröd via unanimous decision
  • Lightweight MMA: Navid Badi def. Peder Rosada-Svendsen via unanimous decision
  • -57 kg Muay Thai A-class: Javad Vahid Rezah def. Sam Wingqvist via unanimous decision
  • Flyweight MMA: Jakob Valegren def. Markus Adolfsson via unanimous decision
