OKTAGON 62 will go down at the massive Deutsche Bank Park stadium in Frankfurt, which has a capacity of well over 50,000 spectators.

According to TheTicketingBusiness, the promotion has sold around 55,000 tickets for the upcoming card. The company is not far from eclipsing the record attendance of the worlds biggest MMA promotion, the UFC, which stands at 57,127.

“We were honestly thinking that if we could get more than 40,000 people in there, then anything above would be a success,” Oktagon MMA co-owner Pavol Neruda said.

“It is our first stadium show here and it is absolutely massive. We are very close to selling out and putting ourselves in the history books. It is absolutely crazy, mind-blowing and still selling really well and tracking towards an even bigger number.”

The UFC record was set at UFC 243 which took place in 2019, at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia. The card was headlined by a middleweight title fight between Israel Adesanya and Robert Whittaker.
