Samuel Bark predicts quick KO at Oktagon MMA: ”There will be no doubt!”
Publicerat
Red-hot striking sensation Samuel ”Sammon Decker” Bark is one of the brightest stars on the Swedish MMA scene.
After a busy 2022, he will return to action at Oktagon 39, to take on the promotion’s undefeated lightweight champion Losene Keita, who drops down to featherweight with the intention to be a two-division champ.
In a new video from Frontkick, ”Sammon Decker” feels confident going into the biggest test of his young MMA career, and is looking to make a statement against the undefeated striker.
”I don’t see the fight going all the rounds, it’s going to be a quick finish,” Bark predicts. ”I want to show the world that I’m ready for the UFC. After I knock this guy out, there will be no doubt.”
Samuel Bark: ”I’m looking at bringing that mentality into MMA”
Before turning to MMA, Samuel Bark was a decorated Muay Thai champion that made a name for himself competing in Thailand. Crossing over to MMA, he brought not only his Muay Thai style, but also the mindset of a seasoned professional athlete.
”In Muay Thai we used to fight every month, and I’m looking at bringing that mentality into MMA. Like one week, two weeks notice, I can fight. Short notice no problem. I’m always active” Bark claimed.
On February 11, the Swede is up for a big challenge, but if he succeeds it could come with a massive prize, according to his manager Majdi Shammas.
”I think it’s a great matchup. This is a very decisive fight for Samuel,” Shammas said. ”To go to the UFC, where he wants to, this is a very decisive fight for him. It’s an important fight.”
”I think it’s the year for him, and a couple of other guys and girls from Sweden. Hopefully he’s going to be in the UFC by the end of this year.”
