The former Wolf Fight Promotion champion, Swedish MMA championship silver medalist and IMMAF World Cup bronze medalist John Oldenqvist just made his professional debut as a lightweight at Zone Pro League 3 in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Unfortunately for the hometown favourite, his opponent – Mohammed Rouzik of France – landed a perfect right hand that sent John Oldenqvist to the canvas out cold after less than a minute.
With the first-round knockout, Mohammed Rouzik moves to 2-1 as a pro.
For John Oldenqvist, who represents GBG MAC, his very first pro bout didn’t go as planned at all. Luckily, the announcer later let us know that he is doing okay after getting checked out by the doctor.
