Nurmagomedov to fight for the title next?
Umar Nurmagomedov claims he’s been promised a bantamweight title if he will beat Cory Sandhagen on Saturday.
“I hope I will fight next, they said I will fight whoever will win (between Sean O’Malley and Merab Dvalishvili),” Nurmagomedov told MMA Junkie.
Mokaev still hopes to be re-signed
Undefeated and top ranked Muhammad Mokaev was released after UFC 304 this past weekend. The promotion did not resign him when his contract was finished.
“My dream is to become UFC Champion. I turn them all down because UFC gave me the platform to put my name out there and earn money to feed my family! [By the way] PFL don’t have flyweight division. All these journalists that make this shit up are idiots! I hope Dana resigns me, this is my dream to become champion,” Mokaev wrote on social media.
Edward’s wants Ian Garry next
Leon Edwards’ coach, Dave Lovell, wants his fighter to face Ian Machado Garry or Shavkat Rakhmonov next.
“Obviously Leon’s got to get himself back in contention to fight for the title,” Lovell said. “Being a three-time defending champion, I think if he gets one, maybe two wins with a few up-and-coming guns, or one that’s in the top-five, I think Leon could get to fight Belal maybe not 2025, but maybe 2026, God willing.”
Oliveira asks fans to choose his next fight
Former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira recently posted training footage on social media and asked his fans to choose his next opponent. “Do Bronx” claims he’s willing to fight the following names on the UFC roster:

- Arman Tsarukyan
- Dustin Poirier
- Conor McGregor
- Max Holloway
- Justin Gaethje
- Alexander Volkanovski
- Colby Covington
UFC books Pinheiro vs. Robertson for November
Ranked strawweights Luana Pinheiro (11-3 MMA, 3-2 UFC) and Gillian Robertson (14-8 MMA, 11-6 UFC) will collide on a UFC card on November 9. A location for the event is not known at this time.
