UFC 305 results: Du Plessis wins grudge match by stoppage!

UFC 305 just went down at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia, and delivered a whole bunch of good MMA action.
In the highly anticipated main event, bitter rivals Israel Adesanya and Dricus du Plessis clashed in a deeply personal middleweight title fight.
Du Plessis was eventually able to stop Adesanya in the fourth round by rear-naked-choke after dropping him with punches.
“I made a stupid mistake on the ground,” Adesanya said about the loss. “I’m disappointed but I’m proud.”
“It sucks to lose,” Adesanya said at the post-fight press conference. “I’m not retiring, I’m not leaving.”

In the flyweight co-main event, Kai Kara-France defeated Steve Erceg via TKO in the first round after dropping him twice.
The fight was Kara-France’s first since a controversial split decision loss to Amir Albazi in June last year.
We also saw the tough Dan Hooker defeat Mateusz Gamrot via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28) on the main card. The win puts Hooker back in the top of the division.
