UFC Tampa with Josefine Knutsson can get high-profile grudge match as main event!

It looks like a welterweight grudge match between Ian Machado Garry and Colby Covington is in the works for a UFC Tampa main event.
According to The Sporting News’ Val Dewar, the promotion wants Covington and Garry to headline on December 14. Dewar claimed the UFC are still waiting on Covington to confirm.
The fight between Florida’s former interim champ Colby Covington and the undefeated Ian Garry would be a perfect main event for UFC Tampa. There’s been a lot of bad blood between the two welterweights, and the bout would certainly cap off 2024 with a bang.
Announced fights for UFC Tampa
Already confirmed for the card are a couple of really good fights in the women’s strawweight division. We will see top ranked Mackenzie Dern and Amanda Ribas clash in a pivotal fight for the division.
UFC Tampa will also feature undefeated Swedish strawweight Josefine Lindgren Knutsson who will take on former training partner Piera Rodriguez.
The card will go down at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, on December 14. Check out the announced fights below!
