Khamzat Chimaev might not know who Joaquin Buckley is – but he’s clearly not a fan of his antics.

The Swedish star scored his biggest career victory yet when he defeated no 2. ranked Gilbert Burns at UFC 273 a week ago, and has since then risen to a no. 3 spot on the official UFC welterweight rankings.

Now, footage has been released of “Borz” threatening fellow UFC fighter Buckley after an altercation between the latter and Chimaev’s friend and teammate, Darren Till.

During the UFC 273 ceremonial weigh ins, Buckley can be seen confronting Till, apparently looking to book a fight with the Englishman.

After the confrontation, Chimaev had some harsh words for Buckley, whom he seemingly didn’t even recognize.

“Who is that guy? Let’s fight now! If you want to play gangster, I’ll f*ck you up”, Chimaev said.

Joaquin Buckley is known to many fight fans for his spectacular highlight reel knockout of Impa Kasanganay back in 2020, a finish some people hail as one of the greatest ever.

Darren Till hasn’t fought in the UFC since September last year, when he lost to Derek Brunson by submission.
