All you need to know about the 2023 Swedish MMA Championships

This upcoming weekend, the 2023 Swedish MMA Championships will take place in Skövde, with some of our absolute best amateur MMA fighters competing for the gold.
The Championship semifinals will take place on Friday April 28 and the finals on Saturday April 29.

2023 Swedish MMA Championships

Tournament format
The Swedish MMA Championships will be conducted in tournament format over two days, with semifinals on Friday and finals on Saturday.
Seeding
The tournament tree will be seeded so that the No. 1 ranked fighter on the list competes against No. 4, while the No. 2 ranked fighter will compete against No. 3.
Bout length
In MMA Class A (formerly Amateur MMA), the fighters compete in three 3 minute rounds.
In MMA Class B the fighters compete in two 3 minute rounds, however, in the finals the contestants will compete in three 3 minute rounds.
Both classes have a break of one minute between the rounds.
Weigh-ins
Contestants will weigh-in at the official weight every day they will be fighting.
Streaming and tickets
Both the semifinals and finals will be streamed by Fightertv.se starting at 17.00. The fights will be commentated by Elin Bladh, Amed Lorindin and Leonardo Staiano. More information here!
