Analysis: What’s next for MMA star Darren Till?

Darren Till is looking to be back soon!
The former UFC title contender has been out of action since December 2022, when he lost to Dricus du Plessis at UFC 282. However, the Brit recently hinted at a comeback to combat sports in a social media post.
”Good little week in the gym. Fight news next week. & it’s a big’n,” Till wrote on Instagram.
So what fight does the Liverpudlian have up his sleeve? Let’s check out three likely – or unlikely – matchups for Darren Till!
BKFC against Mike Perry

This is the fight everybody wants, except perhaps Till himself.
Mike Perry is the current king of bare knuckle boxing and has had a torn in the side to the trolling Brit for many years.
Perry recently claimed that the Brit turned down two million dollars to fight him in BKFC, but perhaps it was just a negotiation from Till’s side?
A bare knuckle fight against Perry could be as close to suicide you get in the fight world, as he ran through each and every of his opponents so far. Could this be the next assignment for Till?
Karate Combat against Luke Rockhold

A more winnable fight would be a Karate Combat bout against former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold.
The American 39-year-old called out former UFC fighters like Lyoto Machida and Michael Bisping. Maybe he’s willing to take on Darren Till instead?
In my book, this would be a good comeback fight for the Brit. Rockhold is still a big name, and Karate Combat a good platform for his return to fight sports. Till also has a solid background in Muay Thai fighter, which could come very handy in the KC pit.

Logan Paul, KSI or why not a British derby against Tommy Fury? There should be plenty of ”boxers” to take on in promotion’s like Misfits Boxing, and plenty of dollars to make as well.
The big question is if this would get Till’s career back on track, or if he definitely would be labeled as a has been in MMA.
I think the 31-year-old got way more to give in MMA, and hopes to see him doing something else than celebrity boxing.
