Two-division champion Alex Pereira keeps running through the light heavyweight division.
After moving up to the division just 11 months ago, he already fought four times, beating three former champions, and is well on his way of becoming the biggest star of MMA.
Let’s take a closer look at three possible next opponents för Alex Pereira.

No. 2 ranked Magomed Ankalaev wants a piece of the action after seeing what Pereira did at UFC 303. The Dagestani 205er is known as a well-rounded MMA fighter and comes from a win against Johnny Walker.
“Everybody deserves, but I’m not the guy to ask,” Pereira said about facing Ankalaev nexdt. “You’ve got to talk to Dana White.”

Alex Pereira knocked out former champion Jamahal Hill at UFC 300 a few months back. The American former champ believes he’s just one good win away from fighting for the belt again.
What does the Brazilian think about facing Hill again?
“OK,” Pereira said at the UFC 303 post-fight press conference.
Jon Jones

The most interesting opponent for the Brazilian would be to move up to challenge heavyweight champion Jon Jones for the belt. If Pereira would win the fight, he would be historic as the first three-division champion in the UFC.
However, since Jones is eyeing a fight against Stipe Miocic next, it’s not very likely that he would accept a clash with Pereira if he got the offer.
UFC Dana White shared his toughts about a potential move to heavyweight for Pereira.
“It’s not that I’m not into it — the guy was a middleweight, then moves up to light heavyweight,” White said at the UFC 303 post-fight press conference. “He’s had a couple fights there, defended his title. But it’s not like this guy’s been in the division for two years and he ran through everybody that’s in the division.”
”It’s a whole other level going up to heavyweight. Even as big as Jon Jones is, as good as Jon Jones is, when Jon Jones was moving up to heavyweight, we’re like, ‘This is going to be interesting.’”
