On Saturday April 29, Cage Warriors returns with a stacked card at the 3Arena in Dublin. The event will be the promotion’s first in the Irish capital in six years.
In the Cage Warriors 153 main event we will see a massive welterweight title unification fight between champion Rhys McKee and interim champion Jim Wallhead.
McKee won the title in August last year, after a ‘Fight of the Year’ brawl with Justin Burlinson. Interim champ Wallhead secured his belt with a win over Matt Figlak in November.
Two Swedes on the main card
In the featherweight co-main event, Sweden’s KO king Tobias Harila returns to action to face hometown hero Ryan Shelley.
Harila comes from a spectacular knockout win at the promotion’s New Year’s Eve event, and is looking to stop the undefeated Shelley in his tracks.
Cage Warriors 153 also features the debut of Wasi ”The Nigerian Jaguar” Adeshina who’s been a shining star on the local Swedish scene with four straight wins at FCR. On Saturday he will take on the experienced Decky McAleenan in a featherweight bout.
