On Saturday September 30, Swedish MMA fighter Cornelia ”Conny Future” Holm returns to action to take on the undefeated Dakota Ditcheva in the PFL flyweight semi-finals in Berlin.
Even though she faced UFC fighters like Lucie Pudilova, and defeated No. 1 ranked UFC flyweight Manon Fiorot as an amateur, the Swede sees Dakota Ditcheva as one of her toughest challenges so far.
”She’s good, when you look at her previous opponents she hasn’t faced top opposition. Her last opponent, Malin (Hermansson), is the toughest she has fought so far,” Holm says. ”But she’s good, probably in the top 3 of the opponents I’ve faced before. She’s not better than them.”
”Wrestle, wrestle, wrestle”
However, the rising British flyweight star is still undefeated, with seven of her eight wins coming via stoppage.
”She never faced anyone who’s as strong as me and so good all around. Definitely no one who’s such a good wrestler as me,” Holm claims and gives away the game plan to beat Ditcheva. ”Wrestle, wrestle, wrestle, make her tired, she has almost never been past the first round, but I will take her to deep waters and drown her.”

Cornelia Holm wants to avenge her friend
Holm’s friend, Malin Hermansson lost to Ditcheva at a PFL event in March, and the Swede feels like defeating the Brit would somehow avenge the loss.
”Yes, of course, in a way I feel that. What I visualize is that I choke her out, so that would be kind of a revenge,” Holm says.
