Cristinel ”Dracula” Mazareanu is an interesting new name on the European pro boxing scene. Following an outstanding amatur career, the 22-year-old from Romania recently moved to Sweden to start a new chapter as a professional boxer.

Training at Helsingborg Combat Club, and working closely with Mikael Cederhof and Gypsea Boxing Management, he’s now ready for his second pro bout.

”I feel great at the moment,” Mazareanu tells Frontkick. ”I fought last month in Spain, where I made my professional debut, and now I already have another opportunity to fight, this time in Denmark. That makes me very happy because Scandinavia is my home now, and it will be a pleasure for me to fight in Denmark. ”

The bout will go down on March 14, at Primetime Fight Night, against Poland’s Michal Malicki. The Polish boxer enters the ring with two wins by KO and nine losses.

”My opponent looks strong and he has more professional fights than me, but I hope he comes well prepared because I am ready to put on a great fight for my team, my friends, the spectators, and everyone who supports me,” Mazareanu says.

”As we have already planned, 2026 will be a great year. I already have more fights scheduled. I hope that after this upcoming fight it will open more opportunities with promoters and sponsors in Denmark and Sweden.”
