MMA fighter of the week: Meet Samuel Bark – a Muay Thai warrior in MMA

With 75 Muay Thai and kickboxing bouts, as well as 13 pro MMA fights, Swedish striking sensation Samuel “Sammon Decker” Bark is a highly experienced combat sports athlete.
From the ring in Thailand to the biggest MMA stages in Europe, Bark has made a name for himself as a very entertaining fighter with a distinctive Muay Thai style. He’s also well-known for his ability to take fights on short notice, something he especially showed proof of in 2022 when he fought seven times in ten months!
With a 3-0 record in Cage Warriors, victories in OKTAGON MMA, and a UAE Warriors title to his name, Samuel Bark is on the verge of realizing his dream of competing in the UFC. Fans are hopeful that 2025 will mark his highly anticipated debut in the octagon.
“I’ve faced opponents in Thailand who fought way more than fighters in the UFC. I’m not dissing anyone, but my experience as a fighter is important. I have been in these situations so many times, I have a lot of experience in staying calm and making the other person uncomfortable,” Bark told Frontkick a while back.
