Bryce Mitchell made his UFC debut in 2019
The 28-year-old made his promotional debut in March 2019 and put together a string of five wins, that includes names like Edson Barboza and Andre Fili, before suffering his first professional loss in December.
“I had a couple thousand bucks in my bank account, and (the UFC) told me that, ‘If you don’t take this fight, we’re not finding you one until February,’” Mitchell told ESPN after his loss against Topuria. ”I was going in there with the flu to kick somebody’s ass anyways. That just wasn’t the case. I was not capable of kicking ass that night. I was capable of taking an ass kicking. I did do that pretty well.”
Jonathan Pearce rides a five-fight winning streak that dates back to November 28, 2020. The winning streak includes names like Darren Elkins and Makwan ”Mr. Finland” Amirkhani.
Following fights have been announced for the UFC event on May 6.
- Lightweight bout: Charles Oliveira vs. Beneil Dariush
