On Saturday September 7, Fight Club Rush will return to Stockholm with FCR 21.
Despite a bunch of short notice changes in the line-up – as fan favorites like Millie Eriksson, Nabbe Malki and Kevin Mickelsson were forced to pull out – the fight card is still pretty solid.
Without further ado, let’s check out Frontkick’s five favorite matchups of FCR 21!
Herolind Xhafolli vs. Erik Wahrolen

Herolind Xhafolli (1-3) against Erik Wahrolen (1-2) is a dark horse of the card.
Xhafolli was expected to face Muay Thai specialist Kevin Mickelsson, but will now find himself fighting a skilled and dangerous grappler in Wahrolen.
This fight is hard to predict. Even though Xhafolli might have a 1-3 record, he’s a very talented and solid fighter. A win on Saturday, however, is crucial for his pro career.
Zelim Zubairaev vs. Axel Nobou

Zelim Zubairaev (4-0) was originally scheduled to face Nabbe Malki, but as the fan favorite was forced to pull out, France’s Axel Nobou (4-3) accepted to serve as the replacement. This fight could still very well end up being the most entertaining on the entire fight card.
Nobou has twice the experience of his opponent and never had a fight going the distance – win or lose.
Undefeated with a 75% finishing ratio, Zubairaev is a red-hot fighter on the Scandinavian scene. At FCR 19 in February, he delivered one of the slickest face plant knockouts we’ve seen in 2024.
Check out Zubairaev’s brutal one-punch KO in the player below.
Enes ”The Doctor” Kollari (1-1) and Brayan Aspegren (3-0) are set for a high-stakes Nordic clash!
The MMA battles between Sweden and Finland always seem to deliver, and the clash between Sweden’s Kollari and undefeated Aspegren from Finland has ”Fight of the Night” written all over it.
The Finnish Finnish National Team veteran is undefeated for a reason, but how will he hold up against Kollari’s striking skills? This is probably my favorite matchup on the card and it’s hard seeing this Nordic showdown fail to deliver.
Bilal Tipsaev vs. Mohammed Walid

Bilal Tipsaev (6-2-1) is arguably one of the best fighters from Allstars Training Center at the moment, which makes his co-main feature against Mohammed Walid (7-3) a must see for any MMA fan!
Tipsaev has back-to-back wins in AFN, but has not competed since December 2023. Walid is a stoppage-machine with all his wins coming in round one of two, and will be more than ready to spoil the home town fighter’s party.
Theodor Berggren vs. Moe Ahmadi

No one will miss it, but there’s sure a reason to shine some extra light on the main event between Theodor ”Simba” Berggren (5-1) and home town hero Moe Ahmadi (6-5).
Berggren is red-hot with his three straight first-round stoppage wins, and should enter the cage booming with confidence. However, FCR fan favorite Moe is known for his slick submission skills that halted many winning streaks. In fact, all Ahmadi’s wins came before the final bell.
Who will imply his game and get the stoppage first?
