14 former UFC fighters set to scrap bare knuckle in Mississippi!

The next edition of Jorge Masvidal’s unique MMA promotion Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA 8 will go down on November 15 at Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi.
Masvidal seems to have used his connections well, as the current lineup features more ex-UFC fighters than any other fight card we’ve seen lately. No fewer than 14 former UFC athletes will compete at Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA in Mississippi.

Maurice Greene

Veteran heavyweight fighter Maurice Greene will take on Chase Sherman in his Gamebred debut.
He previously fought in both UFC and PFL where he faced the likes of Sergei Pavlovich and Greg Hardy.
Jason Knight

- UFC record: 4-5
Combat sports veteran Jason Knight is no stranger to bare knuckle fighting as he fought both in BKFC and Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA. He’s also a seasoned UFC veteran with nine fights to his name.
Tough as nails in other words!
Brandon Davis

Bantamweight fighter Brandon ”Killer B” Davis will take on Randy Costa in his third fight in the promotion. The interesting matchup will have the Gamebred bantamweight title on the line.
Davis had two runs in the UFC and actually defeated Costa via read-naked-choke at UFC 236 back in 2019.
Guto Inocente

38-year-old Brazilian Guto Inocente is a former UFC, ONE Championship and Strikeforce fighter who will make his promotional debut on November 15.
With a striking background, Inocente could be absolutely devastating without gloves. He will face Marcus Brigagao in a heavyweight bout.
Kevin Lee

- UFC record: 11-8
Former UFC interim lightweight championship contender Kevin Lee will take on Saul Almeida in his bare knuckle debut.
Lee was once one of the hottest lightweights in the UFC and fought the likes of Tony Ferguson, Charles Oliveira, Edson Barboza and Rafael dos Anjos.
Alex Nicholson

- UFC record: 1-3
Alex Nicholson will face Frank Tate in a heavyweight fight at Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA 8.
Nicholson, who’s also a former PFL fighter, faced the likes of Jack Hermansson, Sam Alvey and Misha Cirkunov in the UFC.
Randy Costa

- UFC record: 2-4
Randy Costa will take on former foe Brandon Davis in his second fight in Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA. The fight has the promotion’s bantamweight title on the line.
Costa lost to Davis in his UFC debut back in 2019 and is hungry for revenge.
Charles Rosa

Charles ”Boston Strong” Rosa will take on Peter Barrett in a lightweight matchup in Mississippi.
Rosa fought tough opponents like Bryce Mitchell and Nathaniel Wood during his years in the UFC.

Former Cage Titans champion Peter Barrett will take on Charles Rosa in a lightweight fight in Mississippi. The fight marks the promotional debut of ”Slippery Pete”.
Barrett fought twice in the UFC, against Chase Hooper and Youssef Zalal, but lost both fights.
Alessio Sakara

Alessio Sakara will take on Prince McLean in a light heavyweight bout.
Sakara is a real combat sports veteran that made his UFC debut back in 2005. He faced the likes of Chris Weidman and Nico Musoke.
Curtis Millender

Curtis Millender will take on Jesse Robson in a catchweight bout on November 15.
Millender is a true veteran of the game and competed in promotions like UFC, PFL and Bellator MMA. During the years he fought the likes of Rory MacDonald, Thiago Alves and current UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad.
Jesse Ronson

Jesse ”The Body Snatcher” Ronson will take on Curtis Millender in a catchweight bout. He had two runs in the UFC but wasn’t able to secure a win.
After parting ways with the UFC, Ronson pulled together an impressive six-fight winning streak.
Joshua Weems

Former UFC bantamweight Joshua ”Wide Open” Weems will take on the tough Jason Knight in a catchweight bout.
Weems’ sole UFC bout took place in 2022, as he fell short to Christian Rodriguez in the opening fight of UFC Fight Night: Kattar vs. Allen.
Chase Sherman

Former UFC heavyweight Chase ”The Vanilla Gorilla” Sherman will take on his former colleague Maurice Greene at Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA. The fight will be his third in the promotion.
Sherman made two UFC runs and fought a combined 15 bouts at heavyweight.
