”Home turf, pro debut, let’s go,” Modig wrote in a new Instagram post.

After her dominant win against Janika Antinmaa at FCR 12 in May, Josefine Modig hinted that her pro debut was coming in 2022.
“My mom doesn’t want me to go pro. But I guess I just won’t tell her. You’ll see me go pro soon,” she said after the crushing victory.
In her latest appearance in the cage, the Swedish strawweight represented the Swedish National team at the 2022 IMMAF European Championships, which recently took place in Italy.
There she lost a tough razor-thin split decision to Magdalena Czaban from Poland in the quarterfinals. The high paced fight showed high level striking and grappling from the two best strawweights in the tournament. In the end, Czaban went on to win the gold medal.
Wolf Fight Promotion 5 takes place at Akea Arena – Kalmar Sportcenter, in Kalmar on December 10. The MMA event will be historic as the first-ever in the city.
