UFC welterweight Khamzat Chimaev wants to get back in the cage as soon as possible and is looking to fight twice in 2023.
”I am ready to fight in paris ready to fight after in abu dhabi let me smash somebody,” Chimaev recently wrote on Twitter.
UFC returns to the Accor Arena in Paris on September 2. The card is expected to be headlined by a heavyweight bout between former interim heavyweight champion Ciryl Gane and No. 2 ranked Sergey Spivak.
UFC 294 takes place at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on October 21. So far, no fights are announced for the card, but lightweight champion Islam Makhachev is expected to return to headline the event.

Khamzat has not competed since September
Khamzat Chimaev’s last UFC appearance was at UFC 279 in September last year when he defeated Kevin Holland in a catchweight bout.
Since then he’s been rumored to compete at both welterweight and middleweight, but at this point no fight has materialized.
