Allstars Training Center coach Mohammad Babadivand has strong belief in rising prospect Liam Pitts, who made his OKTAGON debut with flying colors i November.
Babadivand firmly believes in his undefeated fighter, and is already comparing him to the legendary Swedish UFC fighter Alexander ”The Mauler” Gustafsson, who represented Allstars Training Center.
“Liam Pitts has fought three bouts at AFN. In OKTAGON, he became a superstar in a single day,” Babadivand says in an interview with Frontkick’s Ashah Tafari. “I’ve said it before, that Liam will be our next Alexander Gustafsson. That’s who we believe he will become. He will be the next to elevate Swedish MMA.
The young Swede has had a great first year as a professional fighter with three straight wins. Now, many observers claim Pitts has the potential to become Sweden’s next major star.
”Of course, [Allstars Training Center] has other fighters, but Liam has something extra,” Babadivand tells Frontkick. ”He will become the new Alexander Gustafsson, and that’s huge.”
