This past weekend, decorated Swedish Muay Thai fighter Magnus ”Crazy Viking” Andersson became the new Budo Sento 155 lbs champion as he defeated Oscar Axl “El Demonio” Magallan.
The fight took place in Mexico City and Andersson secured the belt via unanimous decision.
”What an amazing weekend! I got the job done this Friday and became the new Budo Sento champion. Huge thank you to the promotion! They did a great job taking care of us and acting very professionally,” Magnus Andersson wrote on Instagram.
”Now time for some rest and then we are back to the drawing board in few days and get prepared for next fight in England.”
On June 10, the Swede will be back in the ring at Hitman Fight League in the UK, as he is set to take on the skilled Joe Craven, who recently won a MTGP European title.
Magnus Andersson is originally from Halmstad but now trains at Tulum Muay Thai in Mexico.
He is one of Sweden’s most accomplished Muay Thai fighters with numerous titles to his name, including a Lion Fight World title, Nordic championship and multiple Swedish championship titles, as well as IFMA world and European championship silver medals.
