Sunday’s exhibition boxing match between Floyd Mayweather and John Gotti III, grandson of an infamous New York mobster, ended up in total chaos.

In the sixth round, Gotti was disqualified for repeatedly grabbing Mayweather. The decision made him see red and he went on to shove the referee aside and charge Mayweather as he continued to throw punches like he was in a bar fight.

Mayweather and Gotti’s entourages rushed the ring to stop the crazy situation, which seemed to create an even more chaotic scene.

Mayweather vs Gotti took place in Florida

The exhibition boxing match took place at the FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, Florida, and despite the crazy ending, Mayweather took another exhibition win.

The former boxing world champion has not competed in a professional bout since August 2017 and has a pro record of 50-0, while Gotti is a 2-0 professional boxer.

Claressa Shields was ringside

Undefeated boxing champion Claressa Shields sat ringside and witnessed the bizarre scenes.

”What the fuck man,” Shields said in a video on her Twitter.
