Undefeated Muhammad Mokaev ready to take Kara-France’s spot at UFC 284: ”Let’s fight!”

The highly anticipated flyweight fight between top ranked Kai Kara-France and Alex Perez was expected to happen at UFC 284 in Australia. Sadly, Kara-France recently announced that he’s forced to pull out from the bout due to an injury.

However, one who is more than ready to take the fight against Perez is undefeated flyweight prospect Muhammad Mokaev who took to Twitter to campaign for his case in a series of tweets.

”Please UFC I’m ready,” Mokaev wrote.

”Thank you for the tags people! Thank you for believing in me! I want this fight, I’m ready to step in!”

”Alex Perez I’m only 22 years old, young and small kid but hungry! Let’s fight”

Muhammad Mokaev holds the No. 14 spot

Undefeated as a professional MMA fighter, Mokaev Muhammad for sure has wind in his sails. He’s currently ranked at No. 14 in the division and won three straight fights since his promotional debut back in March.

The 22-year-old flyweight prospect has a lot of hype to his name, but his crazy resume, including 9-0 as a pro and as a 22-0 amateur, shows that the hype is well deserved.

However, it’s quite possible that No. 6 ranked Perez, who was scheduled to fight No. 3 ranked Kara-France, is unwilling to fight such a dangerous opponent that’s so much lower on the rankings.
