Swedish MMA heavyweight Nermin Hajdarpasic returns to action early next year.
On February 3, he will take on Jan ”Jay Jay” Gottvald at PML 8 in Trinic, Czech Republic.
Talking exclusively to Frontkick, the entertaining heavyweight fighter comments on the matchup.
”I was so bored at home that I decided to come back. Swedish MMA is boring without me,” Hajdarpasic laughs. ”Sweden needs their heavyweight king back on the throne. Without me the whole scene is dead.”
”I will make minced meat out of him”
His Czech opponent Gottvald is a solid fighter with a 10-3 record but that doesn’t scare the former Swedish boxing champion a bit.
”I will make minced meat out of him,” Hajdarpasic says. ”Nah, he’s actually a good boxer but I’m on a different level.”
The fight will be a catchweight bout at 95 kilos and there’s a reason behind the weight according to the humoristic heavyweight.
”My balls got smaller after the last loss, that’s why I lost weight and moved down to 95 kilos” Hajdarpasic jokes. ”I’ve been working out hard in the shadows.”
Nermin Hajdarpasic has recently competed in European organization OKTAGON MMA where he pulled togheter a 0-1-2 record against very tough opposition.
His highly entertaining three-round all-out war against Robin Fosum, at Oktagon 41, was ruled a split draw with 29-28, 28-29 and 28-28 on the scorecards.
