The Official Swedish MMA Rankings is the only ranking system focusing on Swedish MMA, with rankings for each pro division – as well as unique amateur’s pound-for-pound rankings.
Sweden is known to have a strong female amateur MMA scene, stacked with up-and-coming talents and seasoned National Team members.
Let’s take a closer look at the top 10 Swedish female amateur fighters right now!
10. Ida Rääf

The tough and durable Ida Rääf is a fighter who faced many of the top amateur MMA fighters from the Nordic countries.
At Allstars Fight Night she stood toe-to-toe with skilled opponents like Finnish IMMAF World Champion Iiris Nihti and Norway’s Jennifer Ankerud.
9. Jessica Andersson

Holding the No. 9 spot Jessica Andersson is Skövde who’s a seasoned fighter on the Swedish amateur MMA scene.
She represented the Swedish National Team in 2019 and 2021 and fought in promotion’s like Fight Club Rush and Brave CF.
8. Yrsa Sandin

At No. 8 on the Swedish Amateur Pound-for-Pound Rankings we find National Team veteran Yrsa Sandin.
As a IMMAF world cup champion and a IMMAF European champion, Sandin has definitely earned her spot in the rankings.
7. Isra Alshairawi

Malmö’s Isra Alshairawi is a skilled striker with a Swedish Muay Thai Championship silver to her name. In MMA she competed in Wolf Fight Promotion where she defeated Ellen Karlsson back in 2022.
A Redline Training Center fighter, Alshairawi trained with UFC veterans Lina Länsberg and Pannie Kianzad.
6. Bianca Kristensson

Swedish National Champion Bianca Kristensson is an interesting up-and-coming fighter on the local MMA scene.
Representing Redline Training Center, the 25-year-old has all the potential to grow even more as a fighter and we hope to see more of her in the years to come.
5. Ellen Karlsson

At No. 5 we find Stockholm’s Ellen Karlsson who’s representing Gullmarsplan Fight Gym. She is a skilled and physically strong boxer – who claimed national success for Hammarby Boxning – as well as a good grappler with a gold medal in ADCC.
Karlsson represented Sweden in the 2022 World Championships and showed both skills and heart in her first IMMAF tournament.
4. Emma Schiöler

Emma Schiöler is a bright shining star on the Scandinavian MMA scene. The young prospect represented Sweden in the 2022 IMMAF World Championships and has back-to-back wins in local Swedish MMA promotion Battle of Botnia.
In her last fight she defeated Nadja Eriksson via unanimous decision at Battle of Botnia 8. On February 24, she will be back in another fight in the promotion.
3. Astrid Vikgren

The young and talented National Team member Astrid Vikgren is a fighter with a bright future. In her first tournament as a senior, at the 2023 IMMAF World Championship a few months back, she secured the bronze medal.
Vikgren is also a skilled Muay Thai fighter with a Swedish Championship gold medal as a youth (U21) and a very talented grappler with a Gold at Nordic Open.
No wonder she’s ranked at No. 3 in the Swedish Amateur Pound-for-Pound Rankings.
2. Millie Eriksson

No. 2 ranked Millie Eriksson is a well-known name in the international amateur MMA scene.
With a gold medal at the IMMAF World Championship in 2021 and a silver medal in 2023, Eriksson is one of Sweden’s most successful National Team members.
Outside of the Swedish National team, the seasoned fighter competed in promotions like Fight Club Rush and Cage.

No. 1 on the Swedish Amateur Pound-for-Pound Rankings is the reigning IMMAF world champion Hanna Palmqvist.
At the 2023 World Championships in Albania, the young Swede, who’s still fairly new to MMA, showed heart and skills as she defeated every opponent they put in front of her.
Even though Palmquist is quite a veteran in the Swedish National Team, she has fought very little outside the IMMAF tournaments due to problem finding opponents who dares to face her.
