Bratislava will witness a massive clash of generations as the legendary Slovakian fighter Ivan Buchinger will take on the young and promising Hafeni Nafuka in the main event of OKTAGON 63.

There’s always excitement in the air when veterans and prospects clash, and tomorrow’s headliner is no exception. Buchinger steps into the cage for the 54th time (!) and is one of the most loved fighters in the promotion with his two OKTAGON titles and a Cage Warriors title.

However, if someone is up for the task to take on the seasoned veteran it is rising star Hafeni Nafuka who’s one of the brightest MMA talents of today’s Germany. He’s 10-1 since going pro three years ago and comes from an impressive win over Topallaj in front of 60,000 fans.

Need more reasons to tune in? Buchinger has a 86% finishing rate and is one of the most entertaining athletes on the roster! There you have yourself a main event fighter!

Finnish MMA hero and fan-favorite Janne Elonen-Kulmala returns to action to rake on Roman Paulus, who’s considered to be one of Slovakia’s biggest talents.

“Roman is a young Slovakian well-rounded prodigy,” Elonen-Kulmala told Frontkick about the fight. “I think he is more like a counter striker and doesn’t like high pace fights. Me neither.”

Both featherweights will enter the cage with back-to-back wins coming via stoppage, and the fans can expect a great fight between a surging prospect and a crafty veteran.

Clash of former title challengers!

Former title challengers will collide in the co-main event!

Hungary’s top dog Mate Kertesz, who has two wins against Christian Jungwirth on his resume, will be back in action to face fellow veteran Leandro ”Apollo” Silva.

The Brazilian fighter is so tough that it’s unreal. Built like a tank and with more than 40 fights to his name, Apollo has never been finished.

This matchup has ’Fight of the Night’ written all over it. Be sure to check it out!
