British trash talker Akonne Wanliss will take on Poland’s Mateusz Legierski in the quarterfinals at OKTAGON 58 on June 8.
Wanliss defeated his rival Sahil Siraj via a first-round knockout in their grudge match at OKTAGON 56 a few weeks back. ”Dynamite” Legierski also comes from a first round stoppage as he submitted Matous Kohout in March.
One important factor in the upcoming bout is that the Polish fighter had much longer to recover from his fight back in March. As Wanliss is big for the weight class, cutting down to 155 twice in a short time could possibly take its toll on the British KO artist.
The winner of the fight will either face Predrag Bogdanovic or Losene Keita in the semifinals.

Spain’s Acodian Duque and Austria’s Mochamed Machaev will also clash at OKTAGON 58 in June.
The Spanish fighter won against Mohamed Grabinski via split decision, while Machaev defeated UFC veteran Makwan Amirkhani in dominant fashion with a third round TKO in March.
Whoever gets his hand raised will face the winner of Ronald Paradiser vs. Daniel Torres in the semifinals.

Losene Keita is one of the favorites to win the whole tournament. On July 20, at OKTAGON 59, he will face the dangerous Predrag Bogdanovic in one of the most anticipated quarterfinals.
Keita defeated former Cage Warriors champion Agy Sardari via unanimous this past Saturday, while Bogdanovic enters the fight coming from a unanimous decision win against Hafeni Nafuka in March.
Bogdanovic is 16-1 but has arguably faced lesser opponents during his career than Keita, who’s 13-1. With that said this fight has what it takes to be a real banger.
The winner will face either Akonne Wanliss or Mateusz Legierski in the semifinals.
Ronald Paradeiser vs. Daniel Torres

The clash between OKTAGON’s reigning lightweight champion Ronald Paradeiser and KSW veteran Daniel Torres will take place at OKTAGON 59 in July.
Paradeiser comes from a tight split decision win against Attila Korkmaz while Torres defeated Vladimir Lengal via unanimous decision.
Both fighters are very experienced and talented and whoever gets his hand raised will take on the winner of Acodian Duque and Mochamed Machaev in the semifinals.
