Rising Muay Thai star Vilda Ekhorn makes pro debut at MTFL: Unite Against Cancer!

Swedish Muay Thai fighter and World Cup gold medalist Vilda Ekhorn is a star on the rise.

At MTFL: Unite Against Cancer on October 28, the young prospect will make her highly anticipated pro debut against an opponent yet to be announced.

”Finally I got to sign my first pro fight contract with Muay Thai For Life! This has been one of my goals since I think my fifth fight when I first met Patrick (the founder) and he told me that someday I will fight on his card. Finally two years and 15 fights later it’s time! October 28th in Gothenburg. I’m so excited to share with you who my opponent is but it’ll have to wait,” Ekhorn wrote on social media.

MTFL: Unite Against Cancer will be a very special Muay Thai event in collaboration with The Swedish Cancer Society (Cancerfonden).

“This extraordinary fusion of athleticism, star power, and entertainment will create an unforgettable evening that transcends the boundaries of traditional combat sports events, ” MTFL founder Patrick Thomsen recently said on Facebook.

Vilda Ekhorn won gold in Thailand

Vilda Ekhorn comes from a splendid performance at the 2023 Muay Thai World Championships in Thailand a few months back.

After four straight wins, Ekhorn won the gold medal in the 54 kg (youth) division.
